Day 2: Idaho to Montana with a 3 year old…

Smooth driving day, just over 4 hours in the car. Toughest part was Nora, 3 year old, she tested us today. We couldn’t get her down for a nap at any stage. Total resistance. And whilst that aligns with my lack of wanting to sleep it made her behavior grueling in many a section today.

When I think about today I think it was literally an all day temper tantrum day. It takes very deliberate thought to recognize that those periods, whilst jarring, were only a small fraction of the day. I think! 😂

Still a great day. Beautiful drive along Interstate 90 highway. Stunning scenery. So many trains too, moving resources and products across the USA 🇺🇸.

Coeur d’Arlene Resort last night was good. Service was mixed, location was outstanding, indoor pool perfect for kids (albeit limited access hours for kids). This road trip is going to be a great memory and a relaxing way to go to Iowa. Nights in hotels with 5 of us in a room though have a shelf life and 5 nights may test that limit 😀😭.
